Alix Prassas, CCMP™, SPHR
President Alexandra (Alix) is an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant with over two decades of experience in the People & Culture space. She is passionate about the evolution of workplace culture and empowerment of the employee experience through strategic design and intentional implementation, built on a foundation of trust. She is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Leadership and is an Adjunct Faculty member in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, both at The Chicago School. A builder by nature, she is known for her outside the box thinking and vision. Alix has been volunteering with ACMP Midwest since 2020, initially advising on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and subsequently supporting the Strategic Relationships team for the 2021 Midwest Change Conference. She joined the Board in January of 2022 as Director of Learning & Professional Development, followed by Vice President from 2023-2025. For ACMP Global, she volunteered as part of a select committee tasked with finalizing its first-ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement. She also co-leads the Chicago chapter of a workplace culture professional group called Culture First and regularly supports adjacent professional organizations. Alix holds an M.A. from New York University (NYU) in Africana Studies, and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in African American Studies and Political Science. A lifelong learner, she is a Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), DISC Certified Professional, and maintains additional certifications in Analytics for Talent Management (ATM) and Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS). |
