Colleen Melie Colleen Melie is a change management and learning leader with extensive experience in large retail organizations. Her area of change specialty is delivering change and communication strategy for transformational enterprise programs. Colleen is also a passionate leader of Equality and Belonging in the workplace, having led a large women’s employee resource group, and planned numerous heritage month events and other E&B activations. She has obtained several professional certifications, including PMP, CCMP, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Colleen is also formally trained in Situational Leadership™ and Professional Coaching.
Currently, Colleen is a Senior Consultant, Change and Program Management at Kroger where she leads change management efforts across Store Architecture and Manufacturing. Prior to her role at Kroger, Colleen held a Senior Manager, Change Management position at Gap Inc., where she provided strategic direction for change management across multiple brands and global markets. She has a track record of successfully building stakeholder relationships and influencing peers, business partners, and executive leadership.
Colleen lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, 2 teenage children and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. She’s also actively engaged in volunteer work and has been a Learning and Professional Development Committee Member for ACMP Midwest for the last year. She also volunteers with the Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth.
