Jana Richardson has a passion for Change Management. People are the key to achieving positive outcomes. Helping them understand the changes is critical for successful process or system implementations. Jana is a results driven strategic project manager, who delivers positive results for the organization by working in a highly-collaborative manner with IT staff, internal stakeholders and external partners. Recently, Jana successfully led the organizational change management effort on a 20-month ERP project.
At Roche Jana is currently the leader for the global Change Management Community of Practice (CM CoP) where there are currently over 750 members. Membership has grown over 20% for the past two years. This platform allows the members to share best practices, trainings, tools, techniques and an engaging atmosphere of organizational change management. In addition to the global community, Jana leads a local community in Indianapolis for over 75 members to engage in face to face discussion on change management topics, tools, projects, etc. to facilitate a network of change management professionals and organizes change management training for Roche in Indianapolis.
Jana completed Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification in 2016 and was one of the 500 Certified Change Management Professionals by passing the exam in 2017. Jana began volunteering for ACMP Midwest by joining the Membership committee in 2016 and continued through 2017.
ACMP Chicagoland Leadership Responsibilities: The main responsibility of the Treasurer is to direct the Chapter’s fiscal policy to ensure the integrity of financial management for the Chapter. The Treasurer leads budget development, oversees custody of Chapter funds and assets, acts as Controller, and assures the financial stability and sustainability of the Chapter.
